Ashish Saxena is the founder and Co-CEO of HomeOptima with 15 years’ experience in business intelligence, solving complex problems for blue-chip corporations in automotive, food, and consumer goods sectors. During this time he led the development of many innovative and creative solutions using modelling and optimization strategies. Ashish has graduate degrees from University of Guelph, University of Waterloo and an MBA from Kellogg School of Management. Having gone through multiple home buying decisions, he realized that the absence of integrated information and decision tools made home buying a less confident process. He is committed to applying his 15 years of corporate experience in improving the quality of decisions by introducing innovative and user friendly decision tools that help both home buyers and real estate professionals.

Upkar Arora is Co-CEO of HomeOptima. He is also Managing Director and Co-Founder of Illumina Partners, an independent boutique advisory firm specializing in providing operational, financial and strategic expertise to mid-sized businesses. He has 30 years of experience working extensively with public and private companies on operations, capital markets transactions, acquisitions, dispositions, turnarounds and financings, as a senior executive, advisor or principal. Prior to forming Illumina Upkar held senior management positions with Electrovaya, Reliance Aerotech, Oncap Investment Partners, a $400 million private equity fund sponsored by Onex Corporation, TrizecHahn, Olympia and York/Reichmann International and Nortel Networks. Upkar is a CPA, CA, CMA and holds an ICD.D designation. He has served as Chair of the McMichael Canadian Art Collection for the past three years and sits on the Advisory Council of the University of Waterloo’s School of Accounting and Finance.

Michael Lea is currently the Corporate Vice President, Strategy & Business Performance for the Irving Group of Companies including; Cavendish Farms, Midland Transportation and Irving Consumer Products. Prior to joining Irving, Michael was a Principal with the Boston Consulting Group (BCG). During his time with BCG, Michael helped companies in North America, Europe and Asia, defined their strategic agendas. He has extensive experience in strategy development / execution, mergers & acquisitions, organizational design and operational improvement. Michael has a Bachelor of Engineering degree from Dalhousie University and an MBA from the Rotman School of Management, University of Toronto. He sits on the Advisory Board of Acadia University's F.C. Manning School of Business.

Mahesh has held a variety of executive positions in technology supporting businesses of over 23 billion dollars in roles spanning strategy, development, product management and operations. Mahesh frequently represented HP in speaking engagements focused on transformation, technology innovation and automation of IT operations, and some of his work has been highlighted in Information Week. Mahesh lives in the San Francisco Bay Area. He is married with two young children. He was raised in Canada and completed his Bachelors in Management Information Systems at Concordia University in Montreal, and his MBA from The Kellogg School of Management.

Andrea Ziegler is the Vice President of Marketing and Corporate Development for Workopolis, Canada’s leading job site. Andrea has a solid track record of building online businesses. Prior to joining Workopolis, she built and ran the mobile solutions team for Bell Media, including the launch of more than 15 apps and mobile web sites. She was previously the CEO of Puretracks, a digital music company, and the President of MedHunters, a healthcare job board. Both companies were successfully sold under her leadership. Andrea also spent 5 years as a management consultant with the Boston Consulting Group (BCG) and Bain & Company. Andrea has a degree in Systems Design Engineering from the University of Waterloo and an MBA from the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania.
